Title Plus is excited to announce that we are now offering online signings for all sellers and cash buyers.

We have partnered with Notarize by Proof (formerly know as Notarize Inc.) to facilitate these remote signings. This platform allows our closers to remotely notarize all documents in the closing package at the time of signing.  After we upload documents the signer will receive an email once the closing is “set up” directing the signer to create a profile. At the time of signing, the platform goes through an authentication/verification process with the signer which includes obtaining a copy of the signer’s valid photo ID, as well as asking some knowledge-based identification questions to confirm identity.

Some highlights of using remote online notarization (RON):

• Most signings take as little as 20 minutes.

• The signer can be anywhere in the U.S. and signers can also be out of the country, but there are a few different requirements for those transactions.

• Agents/loan officers/additional parties can be included in the video call, so they can be “at closing” as well.

• Out of state signers will save time and money by avoiding signing paper documents (often in-person before a notary public) and sending them back to us by overnight courier.

• RON is a great opportunity for locals who may have a tight work schedule, or any other reason making it inconvenient to leave home or work.

• Best of all – there is NO ADDED cost to utilizing the online signing option if the transaction is closing with us!
